Massage thérapie

Massage therapy, an ancient practice yet still so relevant, offers much more than just a moment of relaxation. Indeed, this form of body therapy aims to relieve muscle tension, promote blood and lymphatic circulation, and help appease the mind.

kinesitherapy

Kinesitherapy is a set of manual techniques that combine massage and movement. Just like other massage therapy techniques, kinesitherapie considers the individual as a whole. Kinesitherapie aims to reduce pain from common and minor musculoskeletal issues that cause acute and short-term pain. This treatment works on movement muscles, inflammation, joint mobility, and fibrosis.

Orthotherapy

Orthotherapy is a manual therapy that combines massage therapy with kinesitherapy (movement therapy) for people with muscular pain and joint stiffness, mainly due to poor posture, minor organic problems, the consequences of stress, or sudden or repetitive movements. Orthotherapy enables the spine to regain adequate mobility. Clinically, almost 80% of musculoskeletal pain is postural in origin

Jean-Paul Pellerin

kinesitherapist, orthotherapist,        Pilates instructor.

An avid physical activity enthusiast, I have practiced several sports. I've been a pilates trainer for 13 years and am a member of the Association des Naturothérapeutes du Québec and the Association des Massothérapeutes du Québec. I've added orthotherapy to my toolbox to help my clients regain a state of perfect physical and mental well-being.

The health and flexibility of your spine are indicators of your overall vitality, and this is what orthotherapy and pilates aim to improve. A strong and flexible spine helps you move more easily and maintain good posture, keeping you feeling youthful.“If your spine is stiff at 30, you are old. If it is flexible at 60, you are young.”
